Job Description:  Role Description Application deadline: March 26, 2026 The microfinance performance analysis specialist is responsible for supporting the global performance monitoring systems of the HOPE Network. This role will analyze financial and non-financial data sets and organize them in effective ways for management. The microfinance performance analysis specialist will ensure consistency of calculations and integrity of data throughout the network using industry standards. He/she will be responsible for reporting on key performance indicators and dashboards and take on a variety of ad-hoc reporting requests for financial modeling, reporting, analysis, and training for the microfinance team. Location: Lancaster, PA; Durham, NC; Kigali, Rwanda, RwandaUnited States Level: Senior Professional Salary range: *: $57,000 - $63,000 Type: Full-time Department: Microfinance Reports to: MFI Performance Analysis Manager Responsibilities Promote and contribute to the fulfillment of HOPE International’s mission and vision. Financial Performance Data Analysis and Reporting Contribute to the administration, development, and improvement of financial and non-financial reporting and measurement tools, reporting dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for HOPE’s microfinance network. Track financial performance of the microfinance network by comparing actuals vs targets, conducting trend analysis, and assessing performance against benchmarks and peers. Propose proactive measures and actions to correct poor performing KPIs. Develop and maintain forward‑looking projections, predictive models, and scenario analysis tools to support performance forecasting and strategic decision‑making. Present complex financial data in a meaningful, insightful manner through effective visualization and organized presentations. Assist in data preparation for reports for internal and external stakeholders and in incorporating financial and non-financial data for MFIs that join the HOPE network. Assist in the creation of in-house tools for HOPE-network MFIs to utilize to improve internal analysis and operations. Lead the design and enhancement of advanced Power BI dashboards, using deep data modeling, measures, and improved data visualization practices. Liaise with the Data and Business Analytics team to support data validation and Power BI reporting improvements. Provide analytical insights to support fundraising and investor relations by assessing cost of funds, reviewing funding diversification, and preparing clear data packages for external partners. Other Produce regular and ad-hoc analyses for special projects, reports, and presentations. In coordination with other departments, ensure integrity of, and improvements to, our data environments and systems of record. Contribute to projects including technical support to MFI programs, data cleansing, expansion due diligence, development of new KPIs, support of training in the field, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative case studies. Qualifications Personal confession of Christian faith and commitment to the mission and vision of HOPE International. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, banking, economics, international development, or similar field. At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry, preferably in microfinance, particularly in the areas of financial analysis, data analytics, and accounting. Experience in building or using predictive models, financial projections, sensitivity/scenario analyses, or similar forward‑looking tools. Ability to build Power BI dashboards, including strong knowledge of data modeling, Power Query, DAX calculations, and visualization best practices. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, including effective time management and prioritization of multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees across the organization, locally and remotely, across cultures, and with external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel and Power BI. Adaptive experience a plus. Experience with Asana or other task‑management systems is a plus. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for up to 75 days per year. Fluency in French, Spanish, Kinyarwanda, or other working language in the HOPE network, a plus. Because we take a market-based approach to pay, this salary range is specific to US-based employment. Hires made in other countries will have a salary range based on local market factors and this range will be disclosed during the interview process.
